We looked at Strollers for around 4 months prior to our son's birth. We found most to be too bulky & heavy, considering they only have to transport a baby/toddler! Then we came across the Combi Ricco...
This stroller/pram was the best allrounder for the areas we thought were most important: lightweight, compact (we have a small car boot), reversible handle (my wife wanted to look at our baby!), comfortable, durable and reasonably priced.
The Ricco weighs only 4.7kg (in comparison our newborn weighs 3.5kg), so light, easy to get it up stairs and over curbs.
We've taken the Ricco for a few walks and the only issues we had was that there is no built in rain cover (however it can be purchased seperately), the little wheels don't handle rough surfaces as good as larger wheel prams and when in reverse mode the wheels are a little too close for me to keep my normal stride. Storage space could have been a little bigger as well.
If you are looking at using your stroller on a national park dirt track whilst running, the Ricco is not for you. If you will be using a stroller in shopping centres and surfaced pathways, then the Combi is perfect.
I always feel we made the right choice when you see poor mums knocking over products and not being able to squeeze down aisles.
